Sometimes people get raged about something and Wario is not an exception. His gamepad is broken now and he must restore it as soon as possible!
Wario is so excited! For the first time after breaking his gamepad he will touch a new one. His friend made a completely unique gamepad for him with a new feature. It can react on your moves! Check this out in the game and have fun playing mini games!
This game is actually emulatable with help from a patch that makes the motion sensor controllable via the DPad. I've uploaded the rar to my dropbox, it is an IPS patch that must be used with a US ROM of Warioware Twisted! I'm going to be using WarioWare - Twisted! (U) to create achievements. CRC: 02 02, ROM version 00.

It would seem that Wario Ware Twisted! (U)(Eternity) does not work with this patch.
According to the readme:
Left right left right - that's the spirit! Use the D-pad
to control the motion sensor and 'b' to speed it up. Enjoy
the game NOW!
This game is a ton more fun on the actual GBA. I even played it on my GB adapter for Gamecube and put it on a lazy susan to spin the Gamecube, that was quite the experience. Definitely worth owning and using the motion sensor properly with.
Download the patch here:
(specific link doesn't work, go to GBA and click Warioware Twisted!)

I have made a video on how to patch the rom properly, with download links included in description for everything I used. This may not be needed for most people, but it now exists.
Thank you very much for your nice work, thanks to you I will be able to discover this episode :)

Lowered requirements for some of the harder achievements, Art of Apple War now only needs 30 rotten apples instead of 50; Skyscraper, Warioman and Family Scramble have had their point requirements lowered by 10 while Crygor, 9-Volt and Tower has had their's lowered by 5. I believe these are more realistic stretch goals.

I'm having an issue with this game crashing... so far, it has done so at random points in Jimmy's Story, Orbulon's Story, and Skyscraper (it may do the same in other places, I haven't tried the 'X number of points' cheevs for any others I don't have besides Tower). I made sure to download the base ROM from the same source you used in the patching video (DopeROMs), yet it still happens. You ever run into that problem before?

That does appear to be an issue, but with the help of fast forward you can actually get through it without too much hassle. It happens whenever a Frantic Fronk game chooses to come (which is kind of rare in anything but Jimmy's, it seems). If this happens just hold the fast forward button until the game comes up and it should run fine, albeit a little glitchy in the score screen. Other roms appear to do the same thing but if anybody finds one that doesn't do this that'd be good, I would recode achievements for that version if they need to be.

I haven't tried it with this game, but PS3 controllers work for motion control (tilting gb)
Posted: 13 Jan, 2016 05:36
Getting that to work doesn't sound probable, as the problem isn't that there's no smooth way to do it. Motion control inputs just don't work at all with this game. Perhaps there is another way to get sixaxis to work that way but I doubt it would be worth the effort.

I really love this game, but I'm just having so many issues with it. For one thing, the counter in the Wario Watch stage rarely ever works. The bouncing-weight is always just a tiny bit off and doesn't hit half the time. And Wario Mambo is a nightmare - if you hold 'B' to go faster, the game auto-fails, but if you don't hold B, you're way too slow to follow along. I have no idea how so many other people did it, but I'm close to suspecting it's somehow a different version because I just can't seem to get anywhere on at least those two things. It's too bad the motion control input for Visual Boy doesn't work with this, because I'd much rather use an analog joystick to control the motion than two steps of digital control. But if there's some way you guys used to get those tricky things to work, please let me know, because it's just a hassle to do anything at the moment.

By bouncing-weight, I assume you mean the boss of Wario Watch. That's a real pain and seems to just work whenever it wants. It doesn't really matter though because Wario Watch just becomes literally impossible at 35 points or so anyway (for the emulator). I actually had more trouble with Wario Mambo on the GBA, it seemed to be way more lenient when I played it on the emulator. It appears to just work by the music, where you don't have to move along with it, just hit the key point around the same time they do (it really does seem to be pretty forgiving). I just hold B and sit on one side, wait for them to get close to the other side then start moving so I reach it around the same time they do.

Well at least I'm not the only one having trouble with Wario Watch, but for me, holding B before Wario Mambo starts causes an immediate-fail. Maybe I can hold B after it starts and hope it'll be lenient for me too, but I'm almost starting to think it was the file I used. *shrug* I definitely remember the original cart's Mambo being mind-numbing, and I had been dreading it coming up to this point, but I guess hopefully it'll work out at some point, then. Thanks for the tips though..

Hello. I am aware this is very old, but I noticed the motion control emulation takes a while to pick up speed, even when you hold b. Would it be possible to implement a feature to make it even faster somehow? I think the bouncy ball is only impossible due to the slowdown caused by attempting to switch the rotation back and forth.

So, there's absolutely no way to map this to gyro controls? Not even with a Wii Remote or phone? 'Cause I gotta tell ya, this patch is not ideal.

Using the patch, the game just leans left and pressing the arrow keys does nothing.
